As we close in on the end of another busy year here at Highlander, we’re getting ready to spend some much-needed time celebrating with family and friends during the festive period.
We’re sure that our customers will be hoping to do the same, but we also understand that many of you will also be working at different times during the holiday season, which is why you need to know that your IT is still supported.
As always, we will be doing all that we can to ensure that our customers continue to receive the exceptional levels of support that we pride ourselves on delivering all year round.
As you would expect during the Christmas and New Year period, our working days will differ slightly from our normal operating hours, which is why we wanted to make sure that all of our customers were aware of the changes so that they can plan accordingly.
Please find our seasonal opening hours listed below:

For those customers signed up to our out-of-hours coverage, your 24×7 support service will continue as normal over this period as per the terms of your agreement, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
As many of us have sadly already experienced with the terrible flooding that hit Sheffield and the South Yorkshire area in recent months, adverse weather can be hugely disruptive to your entire business, and that includes your IT estate.
Rest assured that whatever the weather may throw at us throughout the winter period, even during Christmas and New Year, our support services will continue to operate as expected.
Heading into the next 12 months, we’ll be looking to make improvements wherever possible to ensure that we continue to provide the best support services possible for our customers, whether that be with the addition of new support resource or the implementation of new technologies.
For many of our customers, 2020 may also present an opportunity to implement a major IT project, and we’d love to help you in any way we can. We have the knowledge and experience to orchestrate and oversee even the most technically challenging projects, so please feel free to discuss your requirements with a member of the team should you need any assistance.
Equally, for those who aren’t yet taking advantage of our responsive IT support services, it might be that now is the right time to make a change in provider, and thanks to our thorough onboarding process, we can help make your switch totally seamless.
If you have any questions about our IT support services, or your support coverage during the festive period, please get in touch with a member of the team.
