We’re excited to once again be attending next week’s fantastic Get up to Speed (GUTS) with STEM event held at the Magna Science Adventure Centre, Rotherham. It will be our 3rd year sponsoring this amazing showcase, and we’re delighted to have been invited back as the lone MSP exhibitor.
Over 2,500 people attended GUTS STEM last year, and we’re sure that this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever, with a whole host of exciting exhibitors due to attend. We feel incredibly fortunate to be involved once more on what we believe to be a highly prestigious occasion.
An annual event, GUTS STEM introduces school children and students from Sheffield and the surrounding area to some of the incredible career opportunities in science, technology, and advanced manufacturing available locally.
Aside from forthcoming prospects, GUTS also exposes visitors to some of the latest leading-edge technologies available, providing a tantalising insight into what the future holds and how these innovations are impacting a range of industries.
The show also enables its guests to engage with some of the world’s leading organisations and associations, with the likes of McLaren Automotive, Rolls Royce, and the British Triathlon Team all in attendance. Such a broad variety of exciting exhibitors allows visitors to get stuck in with incredible interactive activities, including F1 driving simulations, robotics demonstrations, and even lessons in rocket building!

This year we’re pulling out all the stops to put together something special at GUTS with STEM!
We’re working with our partners HP to provide GUTS visitors with a fantastic opportunity to experience the amazing world of Virtual Reality through their latest technology.
We’ll also have members of the Highlander team on-hand, ready to answer any questions about the world of IT and the latest innovations helping us to change the way our customers work.
GUTS STEM is taking place on Wednesday 27th March and there’s still time to register. Attendance is free and open for everyone, so if you’re interested, click here for more details.
